Favorite spring nail polishes

I don’t know what it is about spring that makes me want to paint my nails all the time – it could be the weather is getting warmer, and I’m pulling out sandals and baring more skin.  Whatever the case, it’s a great season to display bright colors on your fingers and toes.  The beauty of nail polish is that you can wear any color anytime to reflect your mood, but here are my favorite bright colors for this happy season:

Essie Mint Candy Apple – I LOVE this bright minty green, and it’s one of my most-used nail polishes ever.  I think this was the creamy mint green that started the entire trend, and it’s the perfect bright color for the spring.  I’ve had this almost consistently on for the past month.

Essie Van D’Go – Perfect light peachy color.  I first saw this on someone in South Beach in Miami, and noticed it looked AMAZING with a tan.

NARS Pokerface – Fun, bright purple – would make a fab base color for any glittery polishes

Butter London Trout Pout – Brighter peachy color

Revlon Blue Lagoon – Light baby blue with tiny blue shimmers.  In the Instagram picture above, it looks similar to Essie Mint Candy Apple, but it’s different in that it doesn’t have any green in it, and it has shimmers.

Sally Hansen Ring-a-Ding! – And for an accent nail or all-over overcoat, a polish with 3 different colors of gold glitters
